Louisa Krause was born in New York City. She played Anna Garner the leading role in The Girl Experience. Brenda Woodberg played her first movie role in Babysitters in which she starred as Brenda Woodberg. Krause was a drama major in college as well as appearing in numerous off-Broadway shows. Also, she appeared on New York-based episodes of television series on the network. Professionally, her father and mother are both American. Her younger brother Nathaniel is a director. Her interest in arts was sparked at an early age when she studied dance at the Washington School of Ballet, Washington D.C. She then went on to appear in various musicals as well as plays written by Bill Russell and Henry Krieger as well as Side Show. The Carnegie Mellon Drama School was her first choice after she graduated the high school. Soon after, Krause felt she was ready to begin her acting career professionally. After a successful performance on stage in the show Aida, she received the Equity card. Louisa Krause got her start in the theater. She was in the Huntington Theater Company's production Iphigenia 2 in 2006. She was Iphigenia as part of the Signature Theatre Company's Iphigenia 2 from 2007.
