Allana Ferguson bio
Allana represented Australia in the Rugby Sevens in 2013, then consecutive knee injuries forced Allana to stay off the field for several years before making her return to rugby league. Allana was the first woman to make her debut in rugby league against Queensland for New South Wales. Allana's radio career has grown as she regularly appears with the 2GB Continuous Call Team, a popular show that is rated highly. Outside of sport Allana is a qualified instructor. Allana Ferguson is the only australian to have represented Australia in rugby sevens and in rugby league as well as touch. Jillaroos star Allana Ferguson was called upon to announce an early ending to her rugby league career after tearing her ACL for the fourth time. Ferguson had already torn ligaments in the same knee between 15 and 17 but following the third tear the game was over for the 25-year old. Ferguson, JILLAROOS' playmaker was forced to leave early from the squad after suffering a 4th left ACL tear. Ferguson told The Courier Mail that she had the injury while training in November. Ferguson has been the player in the women's rugby league for several seasons.
