Morgan starred on a video that was about AIDS awareness and prevention. Safe Sex for Men and Women. Part of the proceeds went toward the American Foundation for AIDS Research. Morgan is a member of the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan was the primary driver behind numerous fund-raising efforts for the disease. Morgan also gave a speech to a Congressional special committee on AIDS education. Morgan is on the board of Governors of APLA and Amfar. C. Everett Koop, the former surgeon-general of Canada, has asked her to take over his duties for a number of AIDS related events. Additionally she hosted an AIDS Awareness Special together with Steve Bell. Ted Koppell and Morgan have made appearances on Nightline twice to discuss AIDS. Morgan is nominated by the Emmys for Diane English's Murphy Brown special written especially specifically for Morgan. In spring, she was a guest as Joan Rivers on ABC's Your Money or Your Wife. She then started the summer by starring in Murder At The PTA Luncheon which was directed by Von Zerneck/Sertner. It was also co-starring Cindy Williams and Marla Gibbs. In her next role, Harmony Gold produced Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady together with Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee. Morgan has also been featured in a psycho thriller made by USA Network. The film received one of the highest ratings ever.
