Holly-Hunter
Holly Hunter (born Holly Hunter) is an American actor and producer. She is gaining recognition for her outstanding roles in films such as Broadcast News The Firm The Piano, and The Incredibles. The movie Piano won her several awards which included an Oscar. The talented actress began her acting career in the theatre by performing in a myriad of Broadway and Off-Broadway projects. When she was a kid, Helen Keller was her favourite character in a fifth year production. The mumps caused her to lose her hearing in one of her ear, however this was not enough to stop the actress from following her dreams. When she was in college studying drama, she moved in New York City with her ambitions with her sights set. Hunter was stuck in the lift of the playwright Beth Henley when she met her. They collaborated to create Broadway Crimes of the Heart which marked Hunter's Broadway debut. After that, she relocated into Los Angeles and tried to find movie roles. The film, Swing Shift, she landed a role as a support. For the past 30 years Holly Hunter has been on various TV series and movies. Holly Hunter is a Hollywood Walk of Fame famous person and has been awarded the Women in Film Lucy Award.
